1. Water & Irrigation Expert

Terms of Employment: Yearly renewable contract
Number of Positions: 1
Duty Station: Kawo Koyisha Project

Main Duties:

• Identify, study, and design small-scale irrigation and water supply schemes
• Supervise all irrigation and water supply activities
• Produce designs and bills of quantities for irrigation & water works
• Implement and supervise flood protection structures along river banks
• Produce operational plans and organize regular reports

Qualifications & Experience:

• BSc Degree in Irrigation Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related field, or Advanced Diploma
• Minimum 3 years’ experience for Degree holders, 6 years for Diploma holders, in irrigation and water works
• NGO experience is advantageous
• Good command of spoken and written English

2. Accountant

Terms of Employment: Yearly renewable contract
Number of Positions: 1
Duty Station: Kawo Koyisha Project

Main Duties:

• Handle check payments and collections
• Prepare check payment vouchers and checks
• Maintain updated registers and balances
• Reconcile bank statements with registers
• Prepare monthly financial reports
• Maintain accounts using accounting software

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Accounting or above
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in accounting
• NGO experience is advantageous
• Good command of spoken and written English

Required Skills: Accounting, Computer literacy, proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree Accounting)
