📝 Job Summary

The Procurement & Supply Chain Director is responsible for planning, directing, and managing the organization’s overall procurement and supply chain operations. The role ensures efficient, transparent, and cost-effective procurement of goods and services locally and internationally while supporting uninterrupted factory operations.

📋 Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement annual procurement and supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals
Collect procurement requirements from factories and departments and prepare annual procurement plans
Ensure procurement processes follow company policies and procurement regulations
Lead local and international procurement processes, including supplier sourcing and contract negotiation
Maintain and evaluate a reliable supplier database
Ensure continuous supply of production inputs, spare parts, and operational materials
Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely delivery and avoid production disruptions
Manage tender preparation, supplier evaluation, and contract administration
Verify purchased goods for quality, quantity, and compliance with specifications
Facilitate foreign currency requests for international procurement
Implement procurement systems and controls to ensure transparency and accountability
Monitor procurement activities in factories to ensure compliance with policies
Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing and delivery terms
Prepare procurement performance reports and recommend improvements
Lead and develop procurement and supply chain teams

🎓 Education Requirement

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in:

Business Management
Accounting & Finance
Logistics & Supply Chain Management
Economics
Related fields

💼 Experience Requirement

8–10 years of relevant work experience
4–6 years in managerial or supervisory roles
At least 2 years experience in factory or FMCG environment
Proven experience in international procurement (foreign purchasing)

🧠 Required Skills

Strategic procurement and supply chain planning
Supplier and vendor management
Negotiation and contract management
Financial and cost control skills
Leadership and team management ability
Risk management and problem solving
Data analysis and reporting skills
Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
