The African Union Youth Volunteer Corps (AU-YVC), established in 2010, is a premier continental initiative that recruits, trains, and deploys young African professionals to serve as professional volunteers across the 55 AU Member States. This 12-month program is designed to champion AU Agenda 2063 – ‘The Africa We Want’ by positioning youth as central actors in the continent’s development.
