Hibret Bank S.C. (originally established as United Bank S.C. in 1998) is a comprehensive, modern financial institution in Ethiopia operating a network of more than 340 branches and 9 sub-branches. The bank is currently seeking qualified and experienced professionals to fill several open positions at its Head Office in Addis Ababa.

IT, Engineering & Network Infrastructure Positions

1. Senior Network Management Officer

• Place of Work: Head Office
• Education: BSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience Required: Fulfill one of the following baseline tracks:
  • 3 years of experience as a Network Management Officer II or equivalent.
  • 6 years of relevant experience within the banking industry.
  • 2 years of experience as a Senior Network Management Officer or equivalent.
  • 7 years of general relevant experience.
• Salary: As per the Bank’s Salary Scale.

2. Senior Datacenter Management Officer

• Place of Work: Head Office
• Education: BSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience Required: Fulfill one of the following baseline tracks:
  • 3 years of experience as a Datacenter Management Officer II or equivalent.
  • 6 years of relevant experience within the banking industry.
  • 2 years of experience as a Senior Datacenter Management Officer or equivalent.
  • 7 years of general relevant experience.
• Salary: As per the Bank’s Salary Scale.

3. Associate Network Management Officer

• Place of Work: Head Office
• Education: BSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience Required: 1 year of experience as a Junior Network Management Officer (or equivalent banking experience), OR 1 year of experience as an Associate Network Management Officer (or equivalent general experience).
• Salary: As per the Bank’s Salary Scale.

4. Associate Data center Management Officer

• Place of Work: Head Office
• Education: BSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience Required: 1 year of experience as a Junior Datacenter Management Officer (or equivalent banking experience), OR 1 year of experience as an Associate Datacenter Management Officer (or equivalent general experience).
• Salary: As per the Bank’s Salary Scale.

Section Head & Facilities Management Positions

5. Head, Vehicle Maintenance and Insurance Section

• Place of Work: Head Office
• Education: BA in Management, Logistics Management, Transport Management, or related fields. (Technical skills in automotive technology are advantageous).
• Experience Required: Fulfill one of the following baseline tracks:
  • 7 years of experience as a Senior Vehicle Maintenance and Insurance Officer or equivalent.
  • 9 years of relevant experience within the banking industry.
  • 2 years of experience as a Head of Vehicle Maintenance and Insurance Section or equivalent.
  • 10 years of general relevant experience.
• Salary: As per the Bank’s Salary Scale.

6. Head, Fleet Operation & Vehicle Assignment Section

• Place of Work: Head Office
• Education: BA in Management, Logistics Management, Transport Management, or related fields. (Technical skills in automotive technology are advantageous).
• Experience Required: Fulfill one of the following baseline tracks:
  • 7 years of experience as a Senior Fleet Operation & Vehicle Assignment Officer or equivalent.
  • 9 years of relevant experience within the banking industry.
  • 2 years of experience as a Head of Fleet Operation & Vehicle Assignment Section or equivalent.
  • 10 years of general relevant experience.
• Salary: As per the Bank’s Salary Scale.

7. Head, Building Maintenance Section

• Place of Work: Head Office
• Education: BSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Technology Management.
• Experience Required: Fulfill one of the following baseline tracks:
  • 4 years of experience as a Senior Building Maintenance Engineer or equivalent.
  • 9 years of relevant experience within the banking industry.
  • 2 years of experience as a Head of Building Maintenance Section or equivalent.
  • 10 years of general relevant experience.
• Salary: As per the Bank’s Salary Scale.

Clerical & Logistics Support Tiers

8. Junior Secretary

• Place of Work: Head Office
• Education: Diploma / TVET 10+3 / Level IV Certificate along with a COC Award in Office Administration, Secretarial Science, or related fields.
• Experience Required: 1 year of experience as a Junior Secretary.
• Note: Candidates will be required to sit for an institutional competency test.
• Salary: As per the Bank’s Salary Scale.

9. Truck Driver

• Place of Work: Head Office
• Education: Diploma / TVET 10+3 / Level IV certificate in Auto Mechanics or Automotive disciplines, paired with a valid 4th-grade driving license.
• Experience Required: 3 years of experience as a Senior Truck Driver.
• Note: Candidates will be required to pass a practical driving exam.
• Salary: As per the Bank’s Salary Scale.
