Vacant Position & Summary

Position: Recruitment Officer

Job Summary:

The Recruitment Officer oversees the end-to-end recruitment process to source, evaluate, and onboard top-tier talent in an efficient and cost-effective manner. The position works closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, publish vacancies, conduct candidate screening, manage interviews and assessments, perform reference checks, and facilitate onboarding, all while upholding equal opportunity principles and labor law compliance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Recruitment & Selection:
  • Collaborates with department managers to formulate talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Thoroughly screens candidates using structured interviews, technical assessments, and background checks to ensure merit-based hiring.
  • Prepares employment offer letters and formal recruitment documentation.
  • Proactively builds and maintains talent pipelines for critical operational and banking roles.
• HR Operations & Record Keeping:
  • Maintains accurate applicant tracking systems, recruitment records, and secure employee files.
  • Processes employee lifecycle events, including onboarding, promotions, transfers, contract renewals, and exit procedures.
  • Facilitates orientation programs and smooth onboarding experiences for new hires.
• Compliance & Employee Relations:
  • Ensures recruitment practices adhere strictly to bank policies, equal employment principles, and national labor laws.
  • Acts as a preliminary contact point for basic employee relations, inquiries, and grievances.
  • Tracks key HR metrics and compiles periodic talent acquisition and staffing reports.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive Human Resource experience, with at least 2 years specifically dedicated to recruitment or talent acquisition functions.
• Required Competencies & Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Human Resource management principles and labor regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, structured interviewing, and talent evaluation skills.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking, record keeping, and HR database systems.
