About Ethiopian Securities Exchange (ESX)
The Ethiopian Securities Exchange (ESX) is Ethiopia’s first and only organized securities exchange. Established as a public-private partnership in accordance with Article 31 of the Capital Market Proclamation (No. 1248/2021), ESX operates the business of a securities exchange, functions as a Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO), and serves as the central market organizer. It provides an integrated product suite covering equity, fixed income, and money market segments of the capital markets.
As the pioneer exchange, ESX plays a critical role in facilitating access to capital and effective capital allocation to support Ethiopia’s economic growth. By developing a well-regulated and efficient capital market ecosystem, ESX enables financial resource mobilization for both public and private sector institutions while giving investors a secure platform to invest.
Position Overview
Position Title: Corporate Driver

Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
As a Corporate Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting company executives, employees, and clients to various destinations while facilitating effective communication and coordination between different departments and external stakeholders. The position requires maintaining a high level of professionalism, discretion, and customer service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transportation & Driving: Safely operate company vehicles in full compliance with all traffic laws and regulations to transport executives, staff, and clients to meetings, airports, appointments, and other designated locations.
- Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance:
- Perform routine daily maintenance checks on assigned vehicles (checking oil, water, battery, brakes, tire pressure, etc.).
- Ensure cleanliness and prompt refueling of company vehicles.
- Coordinate with Corporate Service personnel for regular servicing, maintenance, and needed repairs.
- Ensure the vehicle is equipped with functional basic toolkits and an easily accessible first aid kit.
- Logistics & Administrative Support:
- Coordinate with external stakeholders (clients, vendors, partners) for pickups, deliveries, and meeting arrangements.
- Provide administrative and logistical support as requested by the immediate supervisor.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or belongings.
- Travel Planning & Safety:
- Plan and organize travel routes considering traffic conditions, weather, and road closures to guarantee timely arrival.
- Strictly adhere to company policies regarding vehicle operations, passenger safety, and confidentiality.
- Professionalism: Maintain a neat professional appearance and courteous demeanor at all times while representing ESX.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: Diploma or equivalent level of education.
- License: Valid Ethiopian Driving License.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional driver, preferably within a corporate or international organization setting.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent knowledge of local roads, city navigation, and traffic patterns.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, and commitment to meeting scheduled deadlines.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive information/matters.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications (An Asset):
- Clean driving record.
- Knowledge of basic auto mechanics and routine maintenance procedures.
- Hands-on experience with GPS navigation systems and route planning software.
