Emirates Customer Sales & Service Agent I Vacancy Announcement

Emirates is currently seeking qualified and competent individuals to apply for the vacant position of Customer Sales & Service Agent I. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, promoting Emirates airline tickets and services, and assisting customers with their travel plans. The job is part of a team working towards achieving individual, station, and network commercial goals.

Job Outline:

Ensure the highest standard of customer service is provided to Emirates customers, offering details on Emirates fares, actively challenging online tickets, and promoting related products.
Issue Emirates tickets, incorporating all necessary airline rules and regulations, and meet customer requests to provide excellent service.
Inform customers about travel requirements such as passport, visa, health requirements, check-in details, etc.
Actively contribute to increasing Emirates revenue by offering options on services such as Skywards membership, DBB, Dubai stopovers, hotel bookings, and upgraded fares.
Stay informed about Emirates Group news and updates to maintain relevant professional and company standards.
For Retail Office only: Maintain documentation, update timetables, display promotional material, and provide various options to customers to increase sales.
Support the Customer Sales and Service Team Leader in closing end-of-day sales and banking activities.
Assist Travel Agents in making bookings with special arrangements, guide them on quoting specific fares, and fulfill Emirates online queries and other complex activities.

Skill and Academic Background:

Educated to at least GCSE or O Level standard or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in a contact center or reservations office environment in the airline or travel industry, or completion of a Diploma/Degree in Travel and Tourism.
PC-based skills in working with Windows programs, including Microsoft Word/Excel/Email.
Knowledge of other languages, in addition to English, is advantageous.
