Position: Junior IT Support

Skills and Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/related fields

Experience:

Summary of Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth functioning of applications and networks across all ECX offices.
• Provide first-level contact and resolutions to customer issues.
• Escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
• Track, route, redirect, follow, and close incidents.
• Diagnose hardware and software network problems.
• Perform routine checks and report on the performance level of IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot HOSP problems with computer systems and peripherals.
• Assist in minimizing monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules.
• Manage the use of computer systems and provide related training.
• Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
• Liaise and work with other IT units and central IT support staff.
• Maintain a historical record of problem resolution and submit trouble reports.
• Set up new users’ accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
• Evaluate vendor-supplied hardware and software.
• Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
