About Us:

Sentinel Steel Plc, established in December 2013, aims to meet the growing demand for quality steel in Ethiopia’s construction sector. Our manufacturing facility, located in Bishoftu, Oromia State, is equipped with an initial installed hot rolling capacity of 120,000 – 150,000 metric tons per annum. We are currently inviting qualified and competent individuals to apply for the position of Junior Civil Engineer.

1. Junior Civil Engineer

Location: Bishoftu, Kajima Industrial Zone

Salary: Negotiable and Attractive

Job Summary:

As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will work under the supervision of the project manager, preparing and presenting progress reports to the project manager and team members. Your reports will cover project timelines, potential cost overruns, and any issues or delays encountered during construction works.

Skill and Educational Background:

BSc Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.

Other Requirements:

Good communication skills.
Physical strength and team leadership skills.
Strong service awareness.
Perfection and detail orientation.
Proficiency in utilizing necessary appliances.
Fluency in English and Amharic and/or Afan Oromo.
