Position: IT Officer

Ethiopian Postal Service invites qualified and skilled applicants to apply for the position of IT Officer. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

IT program and project management.
Coordination of network management and implementation.
Project management of local IT initiatives and projects.
Implementation of monitoring and log management systems, optimizing system performance.
IT inventory tracking.
Management of hardware assets and software licenses in regional offices.
Identification of regional operations for digitalization, evaluation of IT solutions, and recommendation of optimal options.
Coordination of hardware and software ordering, purchase, and implementation.

Places of Work: Addis Ababa, Hawassa, Mekelle, Dessie, Dire Dawa, Jimma, Central District Addis Ababa.

Skill and Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT-related field with 2+ years of experience in managing IT projects and cross-functional teams.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience with networking, system administration, and server applications.
Experience with architecting new systems and automating IT operations.
Language: Amharic, English.
