Tokyo Institute of Technology MEXT Scholarship 2024-25 in Japan (Fully Funded)

Applications are invited for the Tokyo Institute of Technology MEXT Scholarship 2024 in Japan. This is a Fully Funded Scholarship for International Students to pursue Masters or PhD Degrees. Students from all around the world are eligible to apply for this MEXT University Recommended Scholarship 2024.

Financial Benefits:

The scholarship covers the following expenses:

• Free Application, Admission, or Tuition Fees.
• Round-Trip Airfare to Japan.
• Monthly Stipend:
• Masters Degree: JPY 147,000 per month
• Doctoral Degree: JPY 148,000 per month

Scholarship Duration:

• Combined Masters & Doctoral Degree: 3 Years.
• Masters Degree: 2 Years
• PhD Degree: 3 Years

Available Study Fields:

Candidates can select from a variety of study areas offered by the Tokyo Institute of Technology in fields such as Science, Engineering, Materials and Chemical Technology, Computing, Life Science and Technology, and Environment and Society.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Hold the citizenship of a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan.
• Have demonstrated excellent academic achievement.
• Be born on or after April 2, 1987.
• Successfully completed 16 years of education outside Japan or expected to do so by the day before the enrollment date.
• Be physically and mentally able to pursue studies in Japan.
• Apply for the field of study that they studied at their previous university or a related field.
• Have an Undergraduate Degree if applying for a Masters Degree.
• Hold a Master’s Degree if applying for a PhD Degree program.
• Applicants from English language institutes are exempt from language tests and can submit an English Proficiency Certificate.

The application deadline for the International Graduate Scholarship 2024 in Japan is April 7, 2024.
