Vacancy Announcement: Junior Accountant at Soufflet Malt Ethiopia S.C

Location: Addis Ababa

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Check payable invoices for appropriate supporting documents and approval prior to payment.
• Reconcile vendor accounts regularly, research, and correct discrepancies timely.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Reconcile advances, loans, and prepayment accounts.
• Ensure proper archiving of payment-related documents.
• Respond to vendor inquiries.
• Prepare reports to AP Manager as required.
• Create and maintain supplier data.
• Follow-up the settlement of advances and loans.
• Review all payable related recordings and complete closing activities in AP domain.
• Assist in any other finance activity or ad-hoc task as requested.
• Escalate urgent matters to management when needed.

Skill and Education Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Junior Accountant

Required Competencies:

• Analytical skills
• IT skills (ERP system, Microsoft Excel, Email…)
• Customer handling skills
• Communication skills
