  • Contagious and Infectious Disease
  • Public Policy and Management
  • HIV/AIDS Policy and Prevention
  • Substance Abuse Education, Prevention, and Treatment
  • Educational Administration, Planning, and Policy
  • Higher Education Administration
  • Teaching of English as a Foreign Language

Candidates must have a research background in the field or demonstrated ability to learn the results and policy implications of current research.

Financial Benefits:

The Humphrey Fellowship Program 2024-25 provides:

  • Tuition and other fees at the host university
  • Pre-academic English language training (if required)
  • Maintenance (living) allowance, including a settling-in allowance
  • Accident and sickness coverage
  • Book allowance
  • One-time computer subsidy
  • Air travel (international and domestic)
  • Professional Development allowance for activities such as field trips, visits, and conferences.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must:

  • Be citizens of eligible countries.
  • Hold an undergraduate degree.
  • Have at least five years of full-time, professional experience.
  • Have limited or no prior experience in the United States.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities and a record of public service.
  • Possess English language ability.
