VisionFund Micro Finance Institution (S.C) is seeking qualified and competent applicants for the following vacant position:

1: Branch Operations Manager

• Location: Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Salary: As per the Institution salary scale

Job Description:

As a Branch Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch, including cash management, teller operations, accounting, and marketing. Your duties will include ensuring compliance with policies, managing the branch budget effectively, monitoring staff performance, and fostering community relations.

Major Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations, including cash management, teller operations, and marketing.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage the branch budget effectively.
• Monitor and follow up on the performance of support staff.
• Implement discipline and attendance policies for the branch team.
• Provide training and development opportunities for branch staff.
• Foster collaboration with the community and other working units within the branch.

Skill and Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• Related experience of 2 years for Degree and 4 years for Diploma.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Motorbike driving license.
• Knowledge of local languages, communication skills, and computer proficiency are advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
