Eligibility Criteria:

For Undergraduate and Masters:

• Confirmation of study place or certificate of enrollment at a state or state-recognized German university or technical college
• Sufficient German language skills for foreign applicants
• First-year students must apply before or at the beginning of the first semester

For PhD:

• Unconditional notification of admission to the doctoral scholarship
• Sufficient German language skills for foreign applicants

Academic Requirements:

• Outstanding academic merit
• Social and political involvement
• Commitment to the values of social democracy
• Sufficient knowledge of German, although courses are held in English
