East African Holding (EAH) is a prominent business group in Ethiopia, involved in various sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, agro-processing, printing and packaging, transport, real estate, cement production, and mining. EAH is currently looking to hire dynamic, energetic, and hardworking individuals for the following positions:


1. Geologist

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology or related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.25.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in geological mapping and data analysis techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in geological software tools such as ArcGIS, Petra, or similar.
  • Willingness to travel for fieldwork assignments as required.
  • Strong commitment to safety and environmental protection.

2. Foreign Purchase Officer

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in foreign purchasing or procurement roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software or ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.

3. Junior Procurement Officer

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement support roles.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain dynamics, and inventory management principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

4. Mining Engineer

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in mining engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in mining software and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in the mining industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

5. Group Financial and Business Controlling Manager

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business control, management accounting, cost and budget, financial reporting, and financial management.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience for Master degree or 12 years of experience for Bachelor of Science, with 4 years in a senior management role.
  • Master’s degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Practical experience in accounting software.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic and creative thinker.
  • Strong team leadership and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

6. Senior Site Engineer

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on site engineering and coordination.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) are desirable but not required.

7. Senior Quantity Surveyor

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost management, or related roles within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, standards, and regulations, including familiarity with FIDIC and other industry guidelines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, cost estimation software, and project management tools.
  • Professional certifications such as MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent are desirable.

8. Office Engineer

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Certification or coursework in document management systems is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, office engineering, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a specific position.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and document control systems (e.g., Procore, Aconex).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and industry standards.
