Singapore A STAR Graduate Scholarship 2025

The A STAR Graduate Scholarship (AGS) offers fully funded opportunities by the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (ASTAR) for PhD or EngD applicants. International students with bachelor’s degrees are eligible to apply directly. This scholarship funds up to four years of PhD or EngD studies at autonomous universities in Singapore, with the possibility of pursuing post-doctoral training through the A STAR International fellowship after completion. Successful candidates may also have the opportunity to pursue Singaporean Citizenship.

Eligibility Criteria:

Open to Singaporeans and non-Singaporeans
Non-Singaporeans must have completed a degree
Interest in a PhD or EngD Program
Obtained at least a 2nd Upper-Class Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
Applicants in their final semester of undergraduate studies are welcome to apply
Strong interest in a research career

Service Commitment:

Non-Singaporeans will sign a bond to complete 3 years of service in Singapore-based companies in Biomedical Sciences, Physical Sciences, or Engineering.
