The Hawassa Industrial Park Investors Association (HIPIA) is a non-profit organization representing the investors working in the Hawassa Industrial Park. Incorporated in 2016, HIPIA has 22 members from India, Sri Lanka, China, Hong Kong, the United States of America, Ethiopia, France, Belgium, Taiwan, and Indonesia. Our mission is to foster the development and competitiveness of the Textile and Apparel Sector in Ethiopia and enhance professional standards to align with international best practices.

We are currently seeking four dedicated and qualified Production Supervisors to join our team in Hawassa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate production processes to ensure efficient and timely completion of production targets.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust work assignments to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and production specifications.
• Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Train and mentor production staff to enhance skills and productivity.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Garment Engineering, Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Good English communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
