The Hawassa Industrial Park Investors Association (HIPIA) is a non-profit organization representing the investors working in the Hawassa Industrial Park. Incorporated in 2016, HIPIA has 22 members from India, Sri Lanka, China, Hong Kong, the United States of America, Ethiopia, France, Belgium, Taiwan, and Indonesia. Our mission is to foster the development and competitiveness of the Textile and Apparel Sector in Ethiopia and enhance professional standards to align with international best practices.

We are currently seeking four dedicated and qualified Quality Supervisors to join our team in Hawassa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure the quality of production processes and finished products.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures and standards.
• Inspect products at various stages of production to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Train production staff on quality standards and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain accurate quality documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with production and management teams to enhance quality performance.
• Monitor and improve quality performance metrics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Garment Engineering, Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Good English communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
