The Ethiopian Economic Association (EEA) is inviting qualified and competent applicants to apply for the following vacant position:

Position: Accountant

Location: Addis Ababa

Salary: Attractive

Skills and Educational Background:

Qualification: BA degree in Accounting/Finance with a CGPA of 3.5 and above
Experience: 0 years (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
Knowledge: Working knowledge of tax laws, GAAP, and IFRS
Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and other accounting software
Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

Check, prepare, and execute payments through cash, cheque, and bank transfer
Process tax payments and returns
Prepare procurement supporting documents and keep track of orders, purchases, and deliveries
Compile, analyze, and report financial data, creating periodic reports
Assist the Senior Accountant with various tasks
Perform all other duties as assigned and required
