The Ethiopian Economic Association (EEA) is inviting qualified and competent applicants to apply for the following vacant position:

Position: Accountant

Location: Addis Ababa

Salary: Attractive

Skills and Educational Background:

• Qualification: BA degree in Accounting/Finance with a CGPA of 3.5 and above
• Experience: 0 years (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Knowledge: Working knowledge of tax laws, GAAP, and IFRS
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and other accounting software
• Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Check, prepare, and execute payments through cash, cheque, and bank transfer
• Process tax payments and returns
• Prepare procurement supporting documents and keep track of orders, purchases, and deliveries
• Compile, analyze, and report financial data, creating periodic reports
• Assist the Senior Accountant with various tasks
• Perform all other duties as assigned and required
