Position: Graduate Trainee

EthSwitch, a pioneering National Switch in Ethiopia, is inviting qualified and competent fresh graduates to apply for the position of Graduate Trainee.

About EthSwitch:

EthSwitch is at the forefront of transforming Ethiopia’s financial landscape with cutting-edge technology. As a National Switch, EthSwitch is owned by all banks operating in Ethiopia, the National Bank of Ethiopia, Microfinance Institutions (MFIs), Payment Instrument Issuers (PIIs), and Payment Service Operators (PSOs). EthSwitch’s core mandates include:

Creating interoperability between financial institutions
Implementing a domestic payment scheme
Providing a national payment gateway
Serving as central interconnectivity for clearing & settlement
Offering shared platform/infrastructure services

Position Details:

Title: Graduate Trainee
Location: Addis Ababa
Salary: Attractive
Employment Type: One Year Contract
Number of Positions: 3

Requirements:

Education: BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Experience: No work experience is required. Ethical competence and certifications are advantages.
Skills: Strong foundational knowledge in relevant fields, a proactive learning attitude, and ethical competence.
