1. Chief Information Officer

Location: Addis Ababa

Salary: Attractive

Job Description:

• Provide strategic leadership for the Bank’s Information Technology and Information Security functions.
• Design and implement IT strategies that are aligned with the Bank’s business objectives.
• Plan for current and future adoption and migration needs of new technologies and ensure the required budget is secured.
• Oversee the day-to-day IT operations, including system administration and network management.
• Manage relationships with key IT vendors.
• Ensure compliance with relevant IT-related laws and regulations.
• Identify and prioritize IT-related initiatives that support the Bank’s growth and competitive advantage.

Skills and Educational Background:

• MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, MIS, or related fields of study.
• Minimum of 13 years of experience in a relevant position, preferably in the banking industry, of which 4 years must be in a Director-level position in Information Technology.
