Droga Pharma PLC is also establishing a chain of pharmacies across Ethiopia.

Location: Addis Ababa (Different Locations)

Role & Responsibilities:

Implement systems of good dispensing practice for OTC and prescription-only medicines.
Ensure accurate dispensing that reflects the prescriber’s intention and meets consumer needs and safety:
Ensure the right patient receives the right medicine.
Maintain the quality and integrity of medicines throughout their shelf life.
Provide clear instructions for the correct and safe use of medicines.
Offer basic information about special instructions, warnings, possible side effects, and actions in case of adverse events.
Review and update patient personal details and medication history, especially for chronic disease patients.
Communicate with prescribers when necessary about prescriptions or patient therapy.
Provide appropriate information to patients for safe and effective use of medicines and therapeutic devices.
Minimize the incidence of dispensing errors.
Dispense medicines with legible and unambiguous labels.
Ensure the legality, correctness, therapeutic aspects, and appropriateness of prescriptions.
Report any suspected adverse drug reactions (ADRs), fake, or substandard medicines to the technical manager or appropriate authority.
Order and stock prescription and over-the-counter medications.
Comply with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
Work ethically and with full professional competence.
