1: Safety & Security Assistant

Skill and Educational Background:

• Associate Degree or its International Equivalent in Security Management, Information Management, Business Administration, Political/Social Science, or International Relations with a focus on Security Management or other relevant education.
• 0-2 years of progressively responsible experience in investigation, military, police, and security management, preferably in a police or military context or related area.
• Previous experience in a similar role with another organization is preferred.
• Fluent in the local language (Somali) and excellent in English.
• Good knowledge of the local context.
• Unbiased in their analysis.

Travel Requirements:

• 50% throughout the designated Zone.

2: Finance & Admin. Officer

Skill and Educational Background:

• 3-5 years of experience providing progressively responsible accounting, finance, and operational management experience in a government contracting environment coupled with internal control reviews.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar subject area.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and HRIS/Payroll systems.
• Vocational or specialized training desired.
• Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO) is desirable but not required.
• Fluent in the local language and excellent in English.
