Communications and Content Officer

About Christian Aid:

Job Description:
The Communications and Content Officer will support the Communications and Content team to deliver a wide range of projects, working closely with colleagues across the organization. Responsibilities include managing and organizing libraries of videos and images, creating improvements in systems for easy access, and providing administrative support for content collection. This role will also involve researching, gathering, and shaping content needed for organizational communications needs, such as key moment appeals, emergencies, and strategic communications.

About You:

Excellent communicator with strong organizational skills.
Experienced in Communications, Marketing, or a related area with the ability to turn complex information into good content.
Confident in managing and prioritizing workload across different projects.
Capable of taking initiative in work.
Knowledgeable and interested in development, with a commitment to decolonized and ethical storytelling.
Committed to providing a safe and trusted environment, preventing unwanted behaviors such as sexual harassment, exploitation, abuse, and financial misconduct.
