Our work in Ethiopia, since the early 1970s, aims to address the root causes of poverty and marginalization through sustainable livelihoods, water and sanitation, agriculture, climate research, gender issues, and humanitarian aid.

Position: Senior Finance Officer (Grant/Contract)

Salary: As per the Oxfam benefit package

Skill and Educational Background:

Degree in Accounting or MA in Finance from a recognized university/college.
5+ years of relevant experience in a finance role, preferably in an international NGO.
Experience in project financial management, reporting, and partner management.
Strong interpersonal skills and sensitivity to cultural differences.
Good command of computing skills (MS Word, MS Excel) and other internal software systems.
Willingness to be flexible and adaptive to changing working requirements.
Knowledge of or eagerness to learn various accounting software, with special emphasis on the Oxfam financial management system.
Good spoken and written English and Amharic.
