Position: Junior Internal Auditor

Skill and Educational Background:

• Education: BA/College Diploma (10+3) in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, and related fields.
• Experience: A minimum of 0/4 years of relevant experience in auditing, respectively.

Skills:

• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Eager to learn, willing to improve and develop professionally.
• Good understanding, comprehension, and ability to articulate auditing and accounting concepts.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial audits in accordance with professional standards and company policies.
• Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Evaluate the performance of the organization based on the organization operating procedure manual.
• Assist in the evaluation of internal controls and recommend improvements as needed.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to the senior internal auditor.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain compliance.
• Examine records, reports, receipts, or other documents and compare them to company assets and liabilities.
• Analyze adherence to budgetary standards and guidelines using financial data and balance sheets.
• Conduct various financial data tests and work with the employees of a particular company to plan audits, review internal controls, prepare financial reports, and conduct audit tests.
• Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts, etc.
