Walia Steel Industry Vacancy Announcement

Walia Steel Industry (WSI), established in 2006 in Alemgena town of the Oromia Regional State, 20km from Addis Ababa, is inviting qualified and competent applicants to apply for various positions. WSI, with a total land area of 53,000 square meters and an initial capital of Birr 200,000,000, aims to alleviate the shortage of construction materials in Ethiopia and support economic development through job creation.

Position 1: Junior Accountant

Qualification: BA Degree in Accounting/Finance or related fields
Work Experience: 0 years
Place of Work: Sheger City Alemgena

Position 2: Planning Officer

Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years for Diploma holders or 1 year for BA holders
Required Skill: Report compiling ability
Place of Work: Sheger City Alemgena

Position 3: Corporate Human Resources Manager

Qualification: MA/BA Degree in Human Resource, Public Administration, or related fields
Work Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, out of which 4 years should be as a Human Resource Manager, preferably in the industry sector
Place of Work: Sheger City Alemgena

Position 4: Senior Architect

Qualification: BSC in Architectural Engineering or related fields
Work Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience
Place of Work: Addis Ababa

Position 5: Export Manager

Qualification: BA Degree in Business Management, Logistic and Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or related field
Work Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
