1. Senior Account Analyst

Location: Addis Ababa
Salary: 746 USD

Job Summary:

The Senior Account Analyst assists the Accounts Manager in overseeing and managing daily country office (CO) accounting and finance functions. This includes timely recording of transactions, cash management, banking, inventory, receivables, and payables. The role also involves maintaining bank signatory data, processing signatory changes, analyzing and liquidating legal obligations (tax, pension, cost share, purchase declarations), managing emergency cash assistance projects, reviewing petty cash and other revolving funds, managing wire transfers to field offices, and handling periodic accruals.

Skill and Educational Background:

• Education: BA in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience in a similar field.

Desired:

• Experience working in NGOs.
• Training in financial analysis (advanced Excel, on-the-job training, etc.).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Well-organized, with the ability to act professionally and ethically.
• Proficient in computer applications.
• Strong belief in teamwork, gender equality, participatory approaches, and sustainable development.
