EthioChicken, one of the leading poultry-producing companies in East Africa, invites qualified and competent applicants to apply for the following position. The company operates under the brand umbrella of EthioChicken, with its operative companies AGP Poultry PLC, Mekelle Farms Ltd, and Andasa Poultry PLC. The group is dedicated to producing and selling improved breeds of chickens to smallholder farmers across rural Ethiopia, managing eight poultry breeder farms and two feed mill production plants in four regions.

1. Procurement Officer – Import

Location: Addis Ababa

Skill and Educational Background:

Experience & Skills:

• 1 year of work experience in procurement/import roles, with experience dealing with Ethiopian customs and commercial banks.
• Good knowledge of the import process in Ethiopia.
• Highly organized, self-directed, and motivated.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Amharic.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills, especially the MS Office package.

Education:

• BA degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing & Supplies Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or any related fields.
