Geranba Bottling PLC is engaged in the bottling and distribution of natural spring water in Ethiopia. The company has successfully installed its bottling machines and is now producing and distributing bottled natural spring water under the brand name “South Spring” to both local and international markets. Geranba Bottling PLC aspires to be the leading provider of natural mineral spring water in East Africa and the Middle East by exceeding customers’ and stakeholders’ expectations.

1. Position: Hygiene & Sanitation Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and disinfect surfaces: Regularly clean and disinfect work surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas using appropriate cleaning agents and methods.
Proper waste disposal: Dispose of waste properly in designated containers, following protocols for hazardous waste.
Sanitize tools and equipment: Clean and sanitize all tools and equipment used in the workplace according to established protocols.
Maintain clean restrooms: Ensure restrooms are stocked with soap, paper towels, and hand sanitizer, and are regularly cleaned and sanitized.
Monitor and maintain water sanitation: Ensure a safe and clean water supply for drinking and sanitation purposes.
Pest control: Implement measures to prevent and control pests such as insects, rodents, and other vermin.
Train staff on hygiene and sanitation procedures: Conduct regular training sessions to educate staff on proper hygiene and sanitation practices.
Provide resources: Provide access to materials and resources that promote hygiene and sanitation, such as posters, brochures, and online resources.
Enforce policies: Enforce policies and procedures related to hygiene and sanitation.
Monitor and evaluate: Regularly monitor and evaluate compliance with hygiene and sanitation policies and procedures.

Skills and Educational Background:

BSc Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health, Science, or Sanitary Science.
Experience:
0 years experience for Degree holders.
2 years of experience for Diploma holders.

Location:

Arbegona, Sidama Region

Salary:

As per the company scale.
