1. Operations Agent

Skill and Educational Background:

• Experience: Prior experience in customs clearance within the transportation, logistics, or import/export industry.
• Education: Degree in any field.
• Other Requirements:
• Must be computer literate.
• A valid driving license is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all shipments (inbound and outbound) are processed according to local and DHL network standards, meeting transit time goals.
• Execute daily operations processes to satisfy customer needs.
• Implement contingency plans for emergencies or special customer requests.
• Assist with operational practices and procedures for effective service center management.
• Capture and share shipment information as required by the network.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipment clearance meets performance targets and transit times.
• Process shipments upon arrival, ensuring proper security and adherence to procedures.
• Attend and document physical inspections of shipments by authorities.
• Monitor registration and license requirements for DHL customs facilities.
