Job Summary:

The Senior Marketing Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating events, seminars, conferences, and meetings organized by the bank. This role involves working closely with various departments, teams, and external vendors to ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery of events that align with the bank’s goals and objectives.

Educational Background and Skills:

• Degree: B.A in Marketing Management, Business Management, Accounting and Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Experience: 5 years of experience as a Marketing Officer, Event Management Officer, Marketing and Business Communication Officer, Public Relations Officer, Corporate Communication Officer, or in related areas. Banking experience is preferable.

2. Business Communication Officer (Head Office)

Job Summary:

The Business Communication Officer is responsible for implementing the communication strategy of the Cooperative Bank of Oromia. This includes promoting and protecting the bank’s image by planning, developing, and executing effective communication campaigns that engage and inform both internal and external target audiences.

Educational Background and Skills:

• Degree: B.A in Marketing, Journalism, Management, or related fields.
• Experience: 3 years of experience as a Marketing Officer, Event Management Officer, Marketing and Business Communication Officer, Public Relations Officer, Corporate Communication Officer, or in related areas. Banking experience is preferable.
