About the Organization:

Location: Head Office, Addis Ababa
Department: Finance
Report to: Finance Director
Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee fixed assets and inventory accounting, including depreciation, amortization, valuation, and capital expenditure management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and support strategic financial planning and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 5+ years of accounting experience with a focus on fixed asset management.
• Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the laboratory adheres to quality management systems, operational processes, and personnel performance standards.
• Oversee internal audit processes, external assessments, and quality compliance.
• Analyze data, monitor quality deviations, and recommend continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related fields. Advanced degrees may substitute for experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant laboratory work experience.
• Training in Quality Assurance, Quality Management Systems, Six Sigma, or Lean.
• Strong knowledge of accreditation standards, QA tools, and laboratory procedures.
