Position: Manager, Financial Strategy

Job Purpose:

The Manager of the Financial Strategy Division is responsible for:

• Developing and executing strategic financial initiatives to ensure the Bank’s sustained growth and financial stability.
• Leading financial planning and analysis activities, including forecasting market trends, budgeting, and performance evaluation.
• Analyzing complex financial data to generate actionable insights and identifying opportunities and challenges within Ethiopia’s financial landscape and emerging capital market.
• Preparing comprehensive reports, feasibility studies, and strategic recommendations to support decision-making and align financial strategies with the Bank’s broader objectives.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Experience:
  • A minimum of 9 years of professional experience in economic and market research, preferably within the banking industry.
  • At least 2 years in a Principal Officer/Team Leader role or 4 years as a Senior Officer.
