Job Description:

The Junior Site Engineer will support on-site engineering activities, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, QA/QC policies, and statutory requirements. The role involves managing documentation, material submittals, and site team performance while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with contract specifications and guidelines during project phases (commencement, construction, hand-over).
2. Manage material submittals and maintain a register of usable and up-to-date information.
3. Ensure Method Statements & Risk Assessments align with HSE/QA-QC procedures.
4. Support procurement schedules and follow up on material deliveries.
5. Control the dissemination of contractual documents (drawings, contracts, specifications).
6. Report scope changes to the Commercial Team immediately.
7. Manage on-site drawing control and as-built information.
8. Uphold QA/QC requirements and ensure installations are inspected and signed off.
9. Conduct material take-offs and issue measurable data.
10. Record and report project team efficiencies, delays, and constraints weekly.
11. Ensure Testing & Commissioning Requirements, Spares, Warranties, and Defect Liability Periods are understood and signed off.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: BSc in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Work Experience: Fresh graduates with zero years of experience (only 2024 graduates are accepted).
• Required Skills:
• Bright talent with the right attitude and potential.
• Passion for working on-site.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Open to learning and stretching capabilities.
• Location: Addis Ababa
