Job Summary:
The ESG Specialist is responsible for identifying and implementing sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and driving continuous improvement in the Bank’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices. The role involves engaging with stakeholders (investors, customers, regulators, NGOs) to incorporate their feedback into the Bank’s ESG strategy.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability Development Studies, Development Finance/Economics, Technology, or related fields.
Relevant professional qualification(s) in ESG are an added advantage.

Relevant Experience:

Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

2. Ethics Officer

Job Summary:
The Ethics Officer ensures the Bank’s control policies and procedures align with ethical standards, minimizing improprieties, complaints, and conflicts of interest. The role involves analyzing internal and external audit reports, identifying potential corruption, and recommending solutions. The officer also conducts research to identify gaps in policies that may lead to improprieties.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, Law, Business Administration, or related fields.

Experience:

At least 4 years of relevant experience.

Technical Competencies:

Excellent analytical and interpretation skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
