Position: General Account and Reporting Manager

Purpose of the Job:

To build a reliable accounting and reporting system that enhances financial decision-making by ensuring timely preparation of financial reports and monitoring the company’s compliance with all financial and regulatory obligations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

✅ Financial Policy & Compliance:

• Ensure effective implementation of financial policies and procedures.
• Monitor compliance with government regulations and internal approval processes.

✅ Accounting & Reporting:

• Update the chart of accounts and facilitate the opening of ledger accounts.
• Ensure transactions are properly recorded and books of accounts are balanced.
• Oversee the timely preparation and submission of financial reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly).
• Supervise the preparation of tax and statutory reports for regulatory bodies.

✅ Audit & External Relations:

• Facilitate external audits and ensure timely completion of Annual Audit Reports.
• Develop relationships with auditors, bankers, and regulatory bodies.

✅ Departmental & Staff Management:

• Develop and implement departmental plans, budgets, policies, and procedures.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations for subordinates.
• Represent the department in internal and external meetings.

Job Requirements:

📌 Qualification & Experience:

🔹 Option 1:

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or ACCA qualification.
• 6 years of experience, with at least 4 years in a supervisory position.

🔹 Option 2:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 8 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory position.

📌 Skills & Competencies:

• Strong financial reporting and accounting knowledge.
• Experience in compliance, auditing, and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
