📍 Position Title: Re-Advertising: Accountant

📍 Location: Addis Ababa

📝 Job Summary

Dashen Brewery is seeking a proactive and experienced Accountant who will be responsible for providing efficient and effective financial services and ensuring timely and accurate financial processing and reporting in line with company policy and tax regulations.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Accurate recording of cash book transactions and daily sales vs cash reconciliation
Timely bank account reconciliation
Reconciliation between sales records and ERCA
Monitoring outstanding purchase orders
Invoicing of Goods Receiving Notes (GRN)
Adherence to company financial policies and procedures
Supplier payment processing
Payroll processing and other staff-related payments
Staff account settlements and reconciliations
Monthly reconciliation and confirmation of suppliers’ and customers’ balances
Managing container transfers related to sales
Proper file handling and documentation
Support for internal and external audits
Collaboration with the finance team
Clearing irregular accounts
Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by supervisors

👤 About You

🎓 Qualification

BA Degree in Accounting and Finance

💼 Experience

Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the FMCG industry

💻 Technical Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software packages

Good understanding of tax laws and company financial policies
