BGI Ethiopia is currently seeking competent and qualified professionals for the following positions:

🔧 Position 1: Production Operator

Job Summary:
Responsible for the safe operation, monitoring, and maintenance of machinery on assigned production lines. Ensures production targets and quality standards are met by minimizing downtime and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Key Duties:

Operate and monitor process equipment
Perform quality checks using lab equipment and SOPs
Complete documentation for inspections and batch records
Conduct sanitation and basic maintenance
Report safety and operational issues promptly

Qualifications:

TVET Level 3/4 or Diploma with CoC certification in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Mechanics, Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Food Science
Minimum 2 years of experience in FMCG manufacturing
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Email)
Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability

🚚 Position 2: Logistics Head (Hawassa)

Job Summary:
Responsible for leading and managing all logistics and supply chain operations including transportation, inventory, and distribution. Ensures cost-effective and efficient delivery aligned with company goals.

Key Duties:

Develop and execute logistics strategies
Manage transportation, inventory, and warehousing
Lead logistics team including training and evaluation
Ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation
Monitor KPIs and report on logistics performance

Qualifications:

MA or BA Degree in Procurement & Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields
Minimum 5 years of logistics or supply chain management experience, preferably in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of ERP/TMS systems
Excellent analytical and team leadership skills
