🧾 Position: Loan Officer

Number of Positions: 1
Location: Oromia

Key Responsibilities

📌 Loan Promotion & Client Onboarding

• Promote payday loan products to eligible customers
• Build relationships and educate clients on loan terms and financial responsibility
• Conduct client onboarding in accordance with verification and compliance procedures

📌 Customer Verification & Field Visits

• Verify customer details through workplace visits
• Confirm job roles and verify identification documents (Kebele ID, Employee ID, Bank Statements)

📌 Loan Application Processing

• Evaluate loan applications and determine eligibility
• Prepare and submit complete application packages for approval

📌 Loan Repayment Monitoring & Collection

• Track repayment schedules and conduct regular follow-ups
• Assist delinquent clients to avoid defaults

📌 Delinquency Management

• Proactively minimize loan delinquency
• Follow collection procedures to ensure repayment

📌 Customer Retention

• Maintain strong relationships with clients
• Support loan renewals and additional services to boost retention

📌 Reporting & Record Management

• Keep accurate customer and loan documentation
• Submit regular reports on loan origination, repayment, and delinquency

About You

Qualifications:

• 0+ years of experience (fresh graduates encouraged to apply)
• Experience in field visits or customer relationship is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Sales-driven mindset and customer service orientation
• High integrity with respect to compliance and data privacy
• Problem-solving skills for repayment and client issues
