CBE is inviting qualified and interested candidates to apply for the following position:


Vice President – IS Project Management Office (VP – IS PMO)

Required Educational Qualification and Work Experience:

  • M.Sc./B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science or Information Science/Systems or Information Systems or Electrical and Computer Engineering or Information Technology or related fields.
  • 11/13 years of related work experience, respectively, with 4 years’ experience in a Senior Management Role.

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

  • Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of an enterprise-wide project management framework that aligns with the bank’s strategic goals and evolving Agile ambitions.
  • Develop and prioritize the IT project portfolio in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with digital transformation and business growth strategies.
  • Spearhead the bank’s transition from traditional project management to Agile methodologies, fostering a culture of adaptability, speed, and customer value.
  • Define governance, performance metrics, and success criteria tailored for both Agile and hybrid delivery environments.
  • Establish Agile Centers of Excellence, promote training, and champion cross-functional squads.
  • Oversee the business analysis function to ensure deep engagement with stakeholders, accurate requirements gathering, and continuous alignment with end-user needs.
  • Support product owners and development teams with value-focused insights, clear acceptance criteria, and performance benchmarks.
  • Manage a centralized project portfolio, ensuring optimal resource allocation, benefits realization, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure effective communication with steering committees and business leaders on the progress, risks, and dependencies of critical programs.
  • Implement and maintain modern project management tools and dashboards for planning, tracking, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Standardize and continuously improve project methodologies, templates, and knowledge repositories across the lifecycle.
  • Drive post-project reviews, audits, and lessons learned to improve delivery capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with security, operational, and business continuity requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee appropriate risk identification, measurement, and management in the operational activities of the division.
  • Coach and mentor Department Directors.
  • Synchronize the work and communicate constraints and problems with the Executive VP – Technology.
  • Set management team objectives, goals, and performance standards and facilitate team’s alignment and cascading; evaluate and measure performances and take appropriate actions.
  • Consolidate and review budgets of the division’s and ensure effective and efficient utilization.
  • Prepare reports to the EVP in all matters of importance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary: As per the Bank’s Salary scale

Term of Employment: Permanent

Date: July 17, 2025 – July 23, 2025
