An exciting vacant position has arisen for the role of Area Sales Manager. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is responsible for delivering volume and revenue growth by effectively managing the Sales team.


Area Sales Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maximizes allocation of resources in the area (e.g., POS, Coolers).
  • Manages and measures sales targets daily and takes corrective action with the team.
  • Coach and Lead the sales team.
  • Ensure effective Trade and Outlet Execution.
  • Drive Outlet Development.
  • Ensure Quality Management.
  • Achieve Sales and Market share growth.
  • Partner with sales representatives and customers to develop and execute customer-specific business plans.
  • Monitor competitive activities.
  • Quality Management: Ensure compliance to Quality Standards and Manage Trade Replacements.
  • Implement promotional plans.
  • Report promotional deviances with Store Owners/managers.
  • Execute Promotional Compliance.
  • Ensure the execution and Implementation of Picture of Success by channel is being done by the sales reps.

About You:

  • Education: First Degree in Marketing Management/ Management/ Economics/ Business Administration or related field of studies.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in Sales and Marketing, of which 1 year on a supervisory role.
  • License: Must have a valid minimum Auto / Dry 1 driving license.
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Hands-on experience in Sales Operation.
    • Proven ability to effectively manage and lead a team.
    • Strong ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Required Skills: Conflict Resolution, Analytical skills, Strategic thinking, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Communication, Attention to detail.
