Huawei Technologies Ethiopia PLC is looking for a qualified and experienced Core Network Engineer to join their team. This role involves supporting customers with live network issues, fulfilling service requirements, performing maintenance tasks, leading project delivery, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Position: Core Network Engineer

• About the Job (Key Responsibilities):
  • Support customers to resolve Live network issues.
  • Support customer or third-party service requirements.
  • Process maintenance tasks to clear network risk/issues, such as risk/precaution/rectification/upgrade.
  • Be responsible for Core network project delivery.
  • Be responsible for customer communication and develop good customer relationships.
• Education and Major requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, Electronics, and Computer-related Majors.
• Project Experience:
  • Hands-on experience (3+ years) as a Core Network Engineer.
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs, and other networking protocols.
  • Knowledge of network security practices and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Language Skill:
  • Fluent in English.
• Another Requirement:
  • Be good at communication and learning, proactive, and a team player.
  • Outgoing personality with strong stress resilience.
  • Acknowledge Huawei’s culture and prioritize the customer.
• Required Skills: Networking, Technical and non-technical communication.
