Merion School: Vacancy Announcement

Merion School is seeking to hire qualified teachers and support staff for various positions. The school is located at Yeka Abado, Gedera, in front of the Green Bush Hotel.

Teaching and Staff Positions

For Kindergarten:

KG Directors: Degree or Diploma in KG Education.
Main Teachers: Degree or Diploma in KG Education.
Assistant Teachers: Grade 10-12 complete with a Certificate in KG Education.
Childcare Aids: Grade 10 complete with a Certificate in Childcare or Food Preparation.
Special Need Officers: Certificate in KG Education and a Diploma in Special Needs Education.

For Grade 1–8:

Directors: MA/BA in Educational Planning & Management (EDPM).
Teachers for Amharic, English, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Social Studies, Citizenship, IT, C.T.E, P.V.A, H.P.E, Afan Oromo, Spoken English, English Handwriting, and Moral Education are required.
C.T.E Teachers need a BEd, BA, BSc or Diploma in the relevant subjects.

Additional Academic & Support Staff:

Lab Technicians: BSc in Chemistry or Biology with lab experience.
Grade 1-3 Assistant Teachers: Certificate in Integrated Teaching.
Record Officer: Diploma in ICT.
Secretaries: Secretarial Science Level III with COC.
Nurses: Certificate from a Health Institution with COC.
Guidance and Counselors: Degree in Psychology with Special Need Education Courses.
Receptionist: Office Management & Clerk level III with COC.
Librarian: Diploma in Library Science.
Accountant: MA/BA in Accounting.
