Position: Junior Sales Agronomist

Location: Adama, Ethiopia3

Position Summary:

The company is looking for a dynamic and motivated Junior Sales Agronomist to join its team in Adama.4 The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting, demonstrating, and selling organic liquid fertilizer products while providing technical and agronomic guidance to farmers and partners in the region.5

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell Eco-Green organic liquid fertilizers in and around Adama.⁶
• Conduct field demonstrations, farmer trainings, and product trials.
• Provide agronomic support to farmers, cooperatives, and agro-dealers.⁷
• Build customer relationships and monitor product performance in the field.⁸
• Collect feedback and report market trends to the Sales & Marketing Manager.⁹
• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and field days.¹⁰

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Crop Production, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience in agricultural extension or agri-input sales.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of soil fertility, crop nutrition, and organic farming is a plus.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, willingness to travel frequently to rural areas, basic computer skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.¹¹
• Languages: Fluency in Afaan Oromo and Amharic is required; English is an advantage.¹²
