Awash Bank invites competent and qualified candidates to apply for the following vacant positions:


1. Manager – Construction Projects Management Division (Re-advertised)

Qualification & Experience

  • BSc Degree in Construction Technology Management, Project Management, or related fields.
  • Computer-related courses in Engineering (AutoCAD, SAP, and/or ArchiCAD).
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience, of which at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Prior experience in Banking Operations (highly desirable).

Job Summary

  • Prepare architectural designs and technical specifications for new and existing buildings.
  • Design office layouts, aluminum and counter works, branch teller cages, maintenance, and extensions.
  • Evaluate technical documents, review blueprints and specifications, and advise on heat and ventilation systems.
  • Control and ensure the quality of construction projects.

2. Senior – Software Engineer

Qualification & Experience

  • BSc Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT-related fields.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in IT, software development, integration, project management, and banking areas.
  • Master’s in IT-related field (advantageous).

Job Summary

  • Support system development and integration activities.
  • Involve in requirement gathering, development/customization, testing, bug fixing, and application installation.
  • Ensure seamless integration of new or modified systems with existing Bank applications.

3. Information Systems Auditor

Qualification & Experience

  • BSc Degree in Computer Science or BA Degree in a Business-related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Banking Operations, with at least 2 years in Information Systems Auditing.

Job Summary

  • Conduct internal audits related to IT functions/processes and technology applications.
  • Monitor adherence to controls, policies, and IT practices.
  • Analyze risks and controls, recommend process improvements, and prepare audit reports.
