About the Institution

Meklit Microfinance Institution S.C. is a transformed Commercial Microfinance Institution, initially established under Proclamation No. 40/96 and recently revised under Proclamation No. 626/2009 issued by the National Bank of Ethiopia. The institution provides financial and non-financial services to medium, small enterprises and low-income communities, particularly women, across both urban and rural areas of Ethiopia.

Requirements

Education:

BA Degree or Diploma in Marketing Management, Economics, or Management.

Experience:

2 years for BA Degree holders
4 years for Diploma holders

Technical and Other Skills:

Firm belief in teamwork
Basic computer skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to interact and work effectively with others at all levels
Demonstrated technical ability and good conceptual understanding of participatory approach and sustainable development

Required Competencies:

Creative thinking
Teamwork
