1. Position: Senior Government Affairs Officer (Internal/External)
Job Summary
The Senior Government Affairs Officer will engage and liaise with regional government offices to build strong partnerships, ensure smooth collaboration, and represent the bank’s interests in regional government-related matters. The officer ensures alignment between the bank’s operations and government policies while facilitating timely communication and coordination with relevant government bodies.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with regional government offices and officials.
- Coordinate and conduct regular meetings, consultations, and visits with government offices.
- Act as the primary contact between the bank and regional government offices.
- Facilitate the bank’s compliance with regulations and policies.
- Support the bank’s resource mobilization initiatives by engaging government offices.
- Monitor and track government-related issues, approvals, and requests.
- Coordinate internal teams to ensure effective responses to government inquiries.
- Document and report all government interactions and commitments.
- Represent the bank in official meetings, forums, and events.
- Prepare policy advocacy documents, proposals, and reports as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Public Administration, International Relations, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in engagement and liaison with regional government offices.
- Language:
- Fluent in English (spoken & written).
- Knowledge of Amharic, Afan Oromo, and Somali is an advantage.
Technical / Role-Specific Competencies
- Strong knowledge of government structures, policies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with banking operations, products, and financing processes.
- Effective liaison, advocacy, and compliance management skills.
- Strong report writing and documentation skills.

2. Position: Corporate Customer Relation Management Manager (Internal)
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or other Business-related fields.
- Experience:
- 4 years of banking operation experience with a Master’s degree.
- 6 years of banking operation experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Out of these, at least 2 years in a Senior Officer role in branch banking.
Required Skill
- Strong account management ability.
