Ethiopost External Vacancy Announcement


Ethiopost is Ethiopia’s principal postal service provider, with over 600 branches across the country. Guided by its new vision to become a global leader in postal services and a preferred partner in logistics, financial, and government services, Ethiopost is seeking qualified and passionate professionals to join its team.

Ethiopost, a state-owned enterprise (SOE), is the designated postal operator (DPO) responsible for providing postal services throughout Ethiopia to fulfill the government’s universal service obligation (USO).


🏗️ Position 1: Site Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Degree in COTM Engineering or Civil Engineering

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring performance to ensure quality and productivity.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks, repairs, and projects to ensure timely completion and minimal disruption to operations.

⚖️ Position 2: Senior Legal Analyst

Qualifications:

  • LL.B Degree with 2 years of experience OR
  • College Diploma + TVET Level IV with 4 years of experience

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze regional, national, and international laws, draft legislations, and cassation decisions for their impact on Ethiopost’s operations.
  • Monitor and investigate draft laws and policy initiatives to provide early awareness of legal developments.
  • Enable proactive participation in the lawmaking process through well-prepared inputs and analysis.

Position 3: Internal Audit and Compliance Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance with 3 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize audit assignments, allocate resources, and set timelines for completion.
  • Lead discussions with audit teams and enterprise management to ensure effective audit execution.
  • Prepare and document audit meeting minutes, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Position 4: Contract and Counseling Manager

Qualifications:

  • LL.B Degree with 4 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review policies, corporate governance, and legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research to provide accurate and timely advice.
  • Establish and manage service agreements and contracts between clients and suppliers.
  • Advise on legal implications of acquisition and business strategies.
